After successful completion of first phase of the training course on “Understanding of Regulatory Regimes for SMEs” held from 25th to 28th June 2016, 10 participants were selected as potential trainers from 19 participants. These 10 selected potential trainers were further trained in the second session of this training programme that was held on 27th, 28th, 31st, and 1stJuly 2016.
In the third session of this 4-day TTT training programme, the 10 selected trainers delivered the third phase of the training programme, under the supervision and guidance of Senior Expert, Mr. Khurshed Alam, for 30 participants from the SME members of Business Intermediary Organisations (Business Associations and chambers -BIOs), Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations and a number of SME staff members. This phase of the training programme was delivered at the premises of Bangladesh Bank Training Academy (BBTA), between 27th August and 30th August 2016 with a certificate award ceremony.
This training programme has now been fully rolled-out and can be delivered in future on regular basis by the awarded trainers. The training has been designed to create an understanding of regulatory regimes, fiscal incentives, knowledge about rules and procedures of VAT and income tax, how to apply for a loan, etc.
