This training programme was also developed and conducted by Dr. Arup Choudhuri, SSTE. The 1st phase (session) of this programme was delivered from 1 to 5 March 2015, with the attendance 29 officials from Bangladesh Bank and commInternal Audit 1ercial banks as well as the designated faculty members of BBTA. At the completion of the 1st phase, (session), 16 of the 29 trainees were selected as potential trainers and went through the 2nd phase of the programme, which took place from 5 to 9 April 2015.

After having gone through the 2nd phase, the 16 selected trainers, took turn in delivering their assigned topics in the 3rd phase (session) of the course which was attended by 24 officials of Bangladesh Bank and commercial banks, under the supervision and facilitation of Dr. Arup Choudhuri, SSTE, from 19 to 23 April 2015.

Internal Audit 2

The objective of this training programme was to improve knowledge and skills needed by the bankers in risk based audit techniques, better understanding of the purpose and functioning of Internal Audit, the scope and performance of audit work, and the system of internal control (accounting, financial and operating controls).

This five-day training course has also been incorporated into the annual training programme of BBTA.
